HIS Academy For Missions.

20 weeks. 4 semesters.

Missions Life

Mission Logistics

Our focus will be teaching you to expand your mission heart and live on mission daily, everywhere... even if it's in your community.

This academy is designed for people who want a deeper missionary heart. That means a heart to serve voluntarily or vocationally in missions in your communities and around the world. While we do talk about leadership principles it is one small part of the overall curriculum. Therefore, those seeking deeper leadership principles are encouraged to seek their church (ALA) or other educational avenues.

Graduates of this one semester academy will qualify to lead a HIS Missions Short Term Mission journey, regardless of participation with HIS Missions in the past. Otherwise, STJ leadership cannot be accomplished without going on a HIS Mission journey and taking a specialized one day training course. Possible future employment will also be considered from Academy graduates first.

Academy will end with our Academy 2018 class taking a mission trip to Cape Town South Africa.

Applicants can be live in Central Florida and virtual, around the world to complete courses.

Applications for the Class of 2018 are Due by June 1st.

“42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43 Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. 44 All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45 They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. 46 Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts`` Acts 2:42-46
